Patrick Twomey / Committee Member

Patrick Twomey

Patrick (Paddy) joined The SHIFT Project in 2016 and currently holds the position of committee member, bringing with him a wealth of commercial experience. Paddy has a strong background in sales and marketing and has spent the past 29 years in Australia working in senior executive roles, predominately in the entertainment, technology and insurance arenas.

After leaving Sydney for Byron Bay in 2004 with his family, Paddy developed a software franchise on the Gold Coast and Northern NSW and subsequently sold the business in 2010 to join Australian Insurance Solutions (AIS), a steadfast insurance brokerage with a head office in Northern NSW servicing a national client base. Currently a partner at AIS, Paddy has played a key role in developing the business, achieving double-digit growth each year.

While his primary focus with SHIFT is fundraising, he also assists in areas of communication, risk management and event organisation. Paddy is honoured to be a part of SHIFT and looks forward to contributing to the project’s vision of creating a sustainable, supportive environment within the community.

“SHIFT is such a great cause, not only assisting women who are disadvantaged but also building a sustainable model for the future with the support of the local community. It’s been incredible to witness the amazing results that SHIFT has achieved in such a short period of time and I look forward to be a part of the rewarding journey ahead.”
