The Board of Directors

Anne Goslett

Anne Goslett BSocW, Dip. Som. Psych / Founder and Managing Director

Anne has a Bachelor of Social Welfare and is a clinically registered somatic psychotherapist and supervisor.  She has additional studies in the neurobiology of developmental trauma and Certificate IV Frontline Management.


Her career experience encompasses psychotherapy, individual and group supervision, psychiatric nursing, sexual assault counselling, drug and alcohol rehabilitation, domestic violence casework group facilitation/education, and various management positions. Working extensively in rural and remote Aboriginal communities has highlighted for Anne the real need for a stable environment when dealing with traumatic circumstances.

Jane Oliver

Jane Oliver / Chairperson

Jane has spent the past three decades working with not-for-profit organisations in various roles including employee, board member and more recently as a management consultant.

Patrick Twomey

Patrick Twomey / Vice Chairperson 

After leaving Sydney for Byron Bay in 2004 with his family, Paddy developed a software franchise on the Gold Coast and Northern NSW and subsequently sold the business in 2010 to join Australian Insurance Solutions (AIS), a steadfast insurance brokerage with a head office in Northern NSW servicing a national client base. Currently a partner at AIS, Paddy has played a key role in developing the business, achieving double-digit growth each year.

Caitlin Tucker / Treasurer

Caitlin currently holds the position of Finance Manager for a local company in Byron Bay. She has a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in accounting, and brings to the Board over 6 years’ experience working for a not-for-profit organisation.

Julie Wells

Julie Wells Dip. Som. Psych / Secretary & Public Officer  

With 30 years’ experience, both nationally and internationally, Julie is a highly skilled and experienced change agent who is recognised as a specialist in leadership development. Through her career Julie has been actively focused on assisting leaders from a diverse range of industry sectors to improve their personal performance and increase their organisation’s results through providing both individual coaching and group facilitation sessions.

Annie Crowley / Committee Member

Annie has over 20 years’ experience in the media and communications industry, both in managing the Optus Satellite executive sales team and as a one-on-one business coach.

Helen Hamilton

Helen Hamilton / Committee Member

Working with community organizations has been part of Helen’s life for the past 40 years. She is currently President Liberation Larder Inc., Vice President Byron Community Centre & Committee Member Brunswick Valley Community Centre. She is also Director of her family’s business.
