Get Involved

As an independent charitable organisation, we depend entirely on the support of the wider community to enable The SHIFT Project, Byron to continue to operate.

A team of qualified professionals under the supervision and guidance of Anne Goslett, the Founder and Managing Director, manage the day-to-day operation of the project.

A local benefactor has generously provided a three-bedroom house plus a two-bedroom cabin for long-term use as the residential base of the project. The house has been furnished and is maintained by donations from the community and the participants of SHIFT.

To keep the project running and expanding, we need philanthropic support, community grants, fee-paying members and skilled volunteers.

If you would like to join our supporters or be involved in any way, please go to our Contact Us page.

Volunteers

The S.H.I.F.T. Project, is a not for profit registered charity.

To continue supporting women as they grow, we need the support of the wider community to add their talents to the Project.

We have a team of volunteers who offer their individual expertise in a range of activities to support our educational programs.

Talent that has been offered so far

Yoga, cooking, menu preparation, sewing, plant dying, art, crafts, up-cycling, administration, book-keeping……

Our hope is that everyone involved with the Project, whether a volunteer, a participant or a founding member, gains personally as well as the program.

We are working towards building a community of support in the northern rivers. Come and join us.
