International Women’s Day 2020

6th March @ Elements of Byron 11.30am – 2.30pm

This years theme is #EachforEqual

An equal world is an enabled world. As individuals we’re all responsible for our own thoughts and actions – all day, every day. So we can actively choose to challenge stereotypes, fight bias, broaden perceptions, improve situations and help create a gender equal world.

Celebrate women’s achievements and raise money to help empower homeless women in the battle to regain their lives on International Women’s Day 6th March at Elements of Byron for a lunch event from 11.30am – 2.30pm.

This hot ticket luncheon at Elements brings together two hundred like-minded people to celebrate achievements and discuss pathways for a more equal world.

The event is the annual fundraiser for The SHIFT Project and is the cornerstone to it’s continued success in helping women from disadvantage to empowerment and fullfilling their potential.

There will be an auction and 3 major raffles with incredible prizes including diamond jewellery, dinner cooked by Masterchef Simon Toohey, Luxury Accommodation at the Northern Beaches and much more, so be ready to dig deep.

During lunch we will celebrate the 5th birthday of The SHIFT project and highlight both the obstacles and successes of this independent charity. A panel discussion chaired by Caroline Glanville-Jones, international expert on resilience and transformation, includes:

  • Anne Goslett, The SHIFT Project Founder and Managing Director
  • Delta Kay, Arakwal Custodian
  • Mandy Nolan, comedian, journalist, author and local activist
