The Board of Directors

Anne Goslett

Anne Goslett BSocW, Dip. Som. Psych / Founder and Managing Director

Anne has a Bachelor of Social Welfare and is a clinically registered somatic psychotherapist and supervisor.  She has additional studies in the neurobiology of developmental trauma and Certificate IV Frontline Management.

Her career experience encompasses psychotherapy, individual and group supervision, psychiatric nursing, sexual assault counselling, drug and alcohol rehabilitation, domestic violence casework group facilitation/education, and various management positions. Working extensively in rural and remote Aboriginal communities has highlighted for Anne the real need for a stable environment when dealing with traumatic circumstances.

Jane Oliver

Jane Oliver / Chairperson

Jane has spent the past three decades working with not-for-profit organisations in various roles including employee, board member and more recently as a management consultant. She is currently the Human Resources Manager with the Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Legal Service and works full-time on justice and equity challenges.

Patrick Twomey

Patrick Twomey / Vice Chairperson 

Patrick (Paddy) joined The SHIFT Project in 2016 and currently holds the position of Vice Chairperson, bringing with him a wealth of commercial experience. Paddy has a strong background in sales and marketing, predominantly in the entertainment, technology and insurance arenas. While his primary focus with SHIFT is fundraising, he also assists in areas of communication, risk management and event organisation.

Caitlin copy

Caitlin Tucker / Treasurer

Caitlin currently holds the position of Finance Manager for a local company in Byron Bay. She has a BComm, majoring in accounting, and brings to the Board more than 6 years experience working for a not-for-profit organisation. She has a passion for working with children and women. which has seen her volunteer in Indonesia with an organisation that helped get children off the streets.

Julie Wells

Julie Wells Dip. Som. Psych / Secretary & Public Officer  

Julie is a clinically registered psychotherapist and an accredited supervisor for coaches and therapists. Julie has an active involvement in The SHIFT Project where she runs weekly workshops and facilitates structured group discussions on emotional intelligence, with a particular focus on changing mindsets and overcoming limiting beliefs.

Prue Mitchell - SHIFT Board Member

Prue Mitchell / Committee Member

As a graphic designer, Prue was trained by the best and set up her own home based design studio (pm3 art & design). “Helping SHIFT with its branding and advertising needs and using her skills for such an awe inspiring charity, feeds my soul.”

Helen Hamilton

Helen Hamilton / Committee Member

Working with community organizations has been part of Helen’s life for the past 40 years. She is currently President Liberation Larder Inc., Vice President Byron Community Centre & Committee Member Brunswick Valley Community Centre. She is also Director of her family’s business.
